MOBILIZE CREATIVE COLLABORATIVE

Formed in Chicago 2016, the Mobilize Creative Collaborative is a collective of four artists (Aquil Charlton, William Estrada, Andrés Lemus-Spont, Marya Spont-Lemus) who utilize bicycle-based makerspaces to provide free arts workshops for youth and adults in public places.

During Summer 2022, MCC featured guest artists at La Villita Park in Chicago during the month of July. My workshop primarily focused on teaching and introducing the community to accessible weaving techniques and materials. Particpants were also invited to take home their materials and continue their work after the event.
